The Magpies suffered their first defeat of the season on Saturday going down 27-14 at Fishguard and Goodwick RFC. Playing against a much heavier pack Tumble found themselves 14-7 down at halftime with their only points coming from a Sam Jones try which was converted by outside half Steven Hewitt. Tumble scored another try in the second half through young number 8 Owain Davies with Hewitt again adding the extras. Unfortunately further scores for Fishguard made the final score 27-14 to the home side. Eight members of last year's youth team featured in the matchday squad and these young players will have gained invaluable experience from this game.

Next week the Magpies welcome Mumbles RFC to Parc y Mynydd Mawr and will be hoping to return to winning ways. Come and support the boys, kick off 2.30pm.
