The Youth XV booked their place in the final of the East Carmarthenshire Youth Cup with a dominant display over newly crowned league champions Llandeilo RFC Youth. The Magpies dominated the first half determined to make up for the disappointment of the recent league defeat, against the same opposition which effectively cost them the league title. The middle section of the game saw Llandeilo come back at Tumble but the Young Magpies, under the captaincy of number 8 Harri McBryde reaffirmed their dominance to run out 34-20 winners. Tumble scored five tries through hooker Callum Williams (x2), wing Elis Lewis, centre Owain Williams and Morgan Davies. The boot of Owain Williams added a further 9 points with 3 conversions and a penalty. The manner of the win made you think what could have been if Tumble had not been caught up in such a fixture backlog.

The boys will now face the winners of the other semi final between Tycroes RFC and Llandovery RFC at Parc y Scarlets, Llanelli, date to be confirmed.

Good look to the boys this weekend when they compete in the Ghent Easter Rugby Tournament in Belgium.
