The club are saddened to hear of the passing of former Chairman Brian Griffiths. A player for the 1st and 2nd XV during the 1960's and 1970's Brian captained a strong second team to the Llanelli and District Grand Slam in season 1973-74, an era when second team rugby was vibrant in West Wales. Following the completion of his playing career Brian was elected to the committee in the early 1980's graduating to the position of vice chairman before becoming chairman between 1991 and 1997. Deepest condolences to his family and friends at this sad time.
