The Youth XV made the short trip down the M4 to Hendy RFC and ran in 12 tries to claim handsome 19-72 victory against the Iscoed Road side. Hendy who have only this season reformed their youth side fielded an inexperienced side and it was this inexperience that was capitalised upon by the Young Magpies. Saying that Tumble themselves made a number of personnel changes for the game, giving starts to many of last season’s under 16s side and despite these line-up changes there was no drop off in performance level. Tumble’s tries came from Callum Williams (2), Lewis Moore, Alex Jones, Elis Williams (2), Tomos Raymond (2), Rhydian Davies and Morgan Davies (3). Morgan Davies also kicked 6 conversions to complete the scoring.
Next up in the league for the Youth is Brynamman who they play at home on Saturday, 7th October.
