Mr. John Williams O.B.E. QFSM Bsc MIFireE

Former Tumble, Llanelli and Wales B prop forward, who also served as a coach and committee man with the Magpies. Former Firemaster of the Grampian Fire Service in Aberdeen, Scotland and current director of Twrog Fire Risk Consultants.

Vice-Presidents:

Mr. Gareth Davies

Former Tumble, Llanelli, Cardiff, Wales and British &Irish Lions Outside Half. Gareth a twice elected Chairman of the Welsh Rugby Union, finishing his last term in 2020. Outside a number of high-profile business positions Gareth has also acted as Cheif Executive of Cardiff RFC and the Dragons. Whilst chairman of the WRU Gareth also sat on the boards of World Rugby and the British & Irish Lions.

Mr. Damien Jones

A former Tumble RFC player, Damien has been a long-term sponsor of the club and contributed greatly towards the renovation of the Lions Lounge at the Great Mountain Club.

Mr. Robin McBryde

A native of North Wales, Robin has lived in Tumble since 1993 and has coached at various levels within the club. A former Llanelli, Swansea, Wales and British & Irish Lions Hooker, Robin was formally forwards coach of the Welsh National Squad (2007 to 2019) and now fulfils the same role with Leinster Rugby in Dublin, Ireland. Robin was British & Irish Lions forwards coach on the 2020 tour to South Africa.

Mr. Dwayne Peel

Former Llanelli, Scarlets, Sale Sharks, Bristol, Wales and British & Irish Lions scrumhalf. A native of Tumble who represented the club from Under 8 to Under 16 level Dwayne was appointed head coach of the Scarlets in 2020/21 having previously been attack coach with Ulster Rugby and Bristol Rugby. 

Mr. James Plimmer

James is a former Magpies captain (season 1997-98) and takes over as Vice-President from his father John, in recognition of the family business, J&J Motors' long term sponsorship of the club. James scored a try in the 1996 WWRU Challenge Cup final win against Felinfoel RFC.

Mr. Andrew Hughes

A long term sponsor of the club and owner of local business Y Farchnad Fach. The Hughes family has strong connections with Tumble RFC with Andrew's father having served on the committee and brother Brian having been a notible player for the 1st XV during the 1970's and 1980's.

Mr. Adrian Sutton

A long term sponsor of the club and managing director of Vortex. Adrian played hooker for the club in the mid 1990's and was part of the side which clinched the WWRU Challenge Cup for a record twelth time in 1996.

Mr. Dennis Peel

Former centre for the 1st XV during the 1970's / early 1980's and father of Dwayne.
