The Youth XV traveled to Brynamman on Saturday afternoon for their penultimate game of the season. In what was a hard fought and entertaining game the young Magpies outscored their opponents by 4 tries to 2 with touchdowns from wing Daniel Davies, centre Rhys Jones, scrum half Morgan Davies and flanker Osian Flint. Unfortunately, their were unable to add any extras from the tee and this cost them dearly with the Greens successful five times from the tee through two conversions and three penalties which was enough to snatch the game 23-20 at the death. The boys now have a week to wait before welcoming Carmarthen Quins RFC to Parc y Mynydd Mawr for the last game of the season.
