The Piod Pinc finished the 2019/19 season with a convincing 44-7 win over Taffs Well RFC at Pontyberem RFC. With Parc y Mynydd Mawr out of commission after being reseeded the Piod Pinc made the short journey down the Cwm to Pontyberem Park for this rearranged fixture. Taffs Well found the Piod Pinc in an uncompromising mood with the girls romping over for eight tries through fullback Phoebe West, scrum half Whitney Hardy, centre Alaw Hughes, wing Nicole Davies, replacement forward Megan Samuel and a hat-trick from outside half Darcy Hardy. Two conversion were added through Whitney Hardy and Hannah Stephens.
The club wishes to thank Pontyberem RFC for their hospitality during and after the game. With a number of changes proposed for the women's game it will be interesting to see how the WRU structures the league next season.
