Tumble moved up to fourth with a hard fought 25-12 victory over visiting Llanybydder at a rain soaked Parc y Mynydd Mawr. The Magpies scored 2 first half tries through wing Michael Edwards and scrum half Iwan Morgan while outside half Steven Hewitt kicked a conversion and two penalties to make the score 18-6 at the interval. The second half saw ground conditions worsen with the field turning into bog in places. Llanybydder scored two penalties to bring the score back to 18-12 and this was how it remained until deep into injury time when wing Josh Davies scored a try wide out for the Magpies which was converted by Hewitt with the last kick of the game. Final score Tumble 25 - Llanybydder 12.

The Magpies now have two weeks without a fixture before welcoming undefeated league leaders Hendy to Parc y Mynydd Mawr on 22 October.
