On Sunday afternoon the Piod Pinc made the long trip to Caerphilly Borough to play rivals Deri RFC Ladies for the second time in a week and the umpteenth time in the last two seasons. Unfortunately for the girls the result was similar to the previous outing a week earlier with Tumble going down 53-12 against the powerful home side. The Piod Pinc crossed for two tries through pacey full back Jess Thomas and Scarlets Ladies hooker Hannah Stephens. Outside Half Kirsten Field added the extra points from the tee with one conversion.
The girls only need to wait a week for their next game and a chance to get back to wining ways when they travel to play local rivals Pontarddulais RFC Ladies, next Sunday at 2.30pm.
