On Sunday the Piod Pinc welcomed second-placed Morriston RFC Ladies to Parc y Mynydd Mawr in Division 2 of the National Women’s League. The girl’s put in a fantastic performance to finally get the upper hand against the Monkeys of Morriston, running out winners by a margin of 31 – 10. Tumble’s points came from a brace of tries from scrum-half Mabli Davies (playing only her second game for the club), two from Darcy Hardy and another from Sophie Cambell-Cross. Outside half Kirsten Field completed the scoring with three conversions.
The girls are now up to third place in the league on 11 points, five behind Morriston on 16 points. The girls are next in action on 25th November when they welcome Taffs Well RFC Ladies to Tumble in what will be the first fixture between the two sides.
