The Magpies welcomed Pembrokeshire side Tenby United to Parc y Mynydd Mawr and saw the title contenders leave Cwm Gwendraeth with a bonus point 17-43 win. Tumble kept Tenby's slick backs out until the 19th minute when they went over for a converted try. The Seasiders added another try to make it 0-12 before centre Leighton McKenna put Tumble on the scoreboard with a penalty after 38 minutes. Tenby weren't however finished and went over for another try two minutes into first half stoppage time making the score 3-17 at the break.
The second half was played out in much the same fashion as the first with the Magpies struggling to handle the pace and power of the Tenby backline. The Seasiders crossed the whitewash for another four tries but the Magpies never gave up with McKenna crossing for a try after 62 minutes which he converted himself and replacement Kieran Spain crossing with the last play of the game, again converted by McKenna.
The Magpies now have a week to prepare for the Easter Cwm Gwendraeth derby at local rivals Pontyberem who are now level on points with the Magpies after a win at Llanybydder.
